I have been in a MAJOR DIY phase if you couldn’t tell from my last blog post. Everyone seemed to love it, so I thought why not make another! Today I’m sharing super fun DIY dorm art for koozies or photos!
When I was planning on going to college, I searched everywhere for cute DIY artwork that I could make for my dorm. It wasn’t until I got to college that I made the perfect crafts to fill my walls. I wanted a mix of paintings but also other materials that could be displayed. Being a brand rep for so many companies, I ended up with TONS of koozies. I made a blog post on my old blog for a super easy way to display your koozies, but I wanted to take it up a notch this year. Plus, this DIY dorm art would be great to display pictures, stickers, small sketches, and koozies too!
To start, I followed this DIY project to turn a hula hoop into a frame. All you need is a hula hoop, spray paint, ribbon, hot glue, some faux flowers, and mini clothespins!
Once I was finished making the frame, I laid out my koozies on where I wanted to display them before I hung them up. To attach, I clipped the backside of the koozie to the ribbon with a clothespin. Once you’re done, you can hang it up on your wall with a command strip hook. See, super easy!
I love this DIY because you can change out what you hang up each season. One season you could hang up polaroids, the next season stickers, another season sketches, and then koozies! This is the easiest and most versatile DIY dorm art that you can make! This would also make the perfect graduation gift for someone going off to college.

And if you’re in college (or heading to college) and want to make this, don’t forget to save this pin to Pinterest and add it to your DIY Pinterest board!
