I never in a million years thought I would turn into a crazy dog lady. But after I got Captain, things changed drastically. It wasn’t until I noticed that Captain gets more mail and packages than me that I knew I became a crazy Doodle Mom! Today I’m showing you what’s inside the March box and giving you a full Dapper Dog Box Review. I even have a great discount code for you at the bottom of this post!
I did a poll on my Instagram last month asking if you all wanted to see more dog content, and the results were overwhelming! I never knew my readers were so into dogs. I’m hoping to bring you all some dog content every month. I’m so excited that Dapper Dog Box is the first major dog blog post I’m introducing to you all! Let’s get into the Dapper Dog Box Review.
What is The Dapper Dog Box?
The Dapper Dog Box is a monthly dog subscription box. It includes dog toys, treats, and even accessories! All of the products are full sized and they are catered to the size of your dog. The products in the box differ from month-to-month. But the one thing that they all have in common is that they’re perfect for your dapper dog. One month subscriptions start at $30, but you can get them for $22 a box with a 12-month subscription.
What was in the March Box?
This box had 3 toys and 3 treats. I love getting subscription boxes because of the element of surprise that comes in each one. Captain was so excited for this box because when I picked it up, he immediately started sniffing it like crazy! I love to see his excitement.
What toys were inside?
My favorite toy had to be this Flamingo. It has a squeaker inside and its wings make a crinkle noise. I love that it matches his flamingo bandana from Pawties!
My second favorite was definitely this ice cream cone. It has a squeaker inside and it made of this super soft plush fabric. I’m so obsessed with it that I’m going to buy Captain an ice cream bandana to match (I told you I’m a crazy dog mom).
The last toy inside was this spiky neon ball. It squeaks and lights up when you throw it. Another thing I love about subscription boxes is that you get items that you may not have normally picked. This ended up being one of Captain’s favorite toys in the box – who knew!
What treats were inside?
My favorite treat was the Fortune Cookie by Big Daddy Biscuits. And it actually had a fortune inside! I think it might have been more fun for me than for Captain, but he still loved it!
The second treat was a bag of Jerkeez from Exclusively Dog. I had never heard of this brand before but I love the fact that they’re natural dog treats and are wheat, corn, and soy free.
The last treat was a bag of Bare Bites that are 100% natural dried liver. Captain loves dried liver, so he was obsessed with this bag! With both treat bags, this is more than enough to last him a whole month.
Is Dapper Dog Box worth it?
1000% yes. I never buy Captain treats or toys anymore since I can just rely on the ones that come in the boxes. The March box came with 6 items; 3 toys and 3 treats. If I were to have bought all of those items individually, I would have easily spent over $50. The fact that I can get all of them for $30 is unreal! These savings are similar to what you would get every month, since all of the products are high quality. And as I mentioned above, if you subscribe for 12-months you can get each month’s box for $22.
I love that the products are often from brands I know: Big Daddy Biscuits, Ripley and Rue, Zippy Paws, and so many more. The brands are extremely high quality and that quality carries over into the box itself. It’s a perfectly curated dog box for all those preps out there who love to give their dog the best.
What I love about Dapper Dog Box…
I became obsessed with the Dapper Dog Box after buying their Birthday Box for Captain’s first birthday. It shipped SO fast and all of the items were such high quality. It even came with a dog friendly cake mix and ice cream mix that we’ll be making soon! Captain has a very sensitive stomach so it’s hard to find good treats for him, but he’s never had an issue with Dapper Dog Box’s treats since most of them are grain free, natural, and made in the USA. Look how happy he was with his Birthday Box! If you have a dog birthday coming it, this box is a great way to celebrate.
When I got the March box, I was just as in love as I was with the birthday box. There’s a couple things that really stick out to me about The Dapper Dog Box that differentiates it from other dog subscription boxes. The first is that their shipping is incredibly fast. Boxes typically ship within 2-3 days of your purchase, which is incredibly fast compared to other boxes out there. The second thing I love is that there are always personal touches for humans, which makes it just as fun for you and your dog. For example, in this box there was an actual fortune in the fortune cookie dog treat. There’s almost always coupons to other shops in the box. Lastly, as I mentioned before, they often include dog bowties or bandanas. If I were to buy one just by itself, I would be looking at $15+ dollars just due to his size. So to get that included with my box basically just pays for itself there!
My absolute favorite thing is that it is just so preppy and perfect. It’s really fun to have toys around that just match my aesthetic. It makes having dog toys everywhere way more fun (instead of pain to look at).
How can you get your own box?
If you loved this Dapper Dog Box Review and want to grab your own box, feel free to order through this link! You can use code “CAPTAIN” for a FREE Zippy Paws donut toy inside your box! It’s seriously Captain’s favorite toy! I get a small commission if you do order. If your dog destroys all of his or her toys, there’s a heavy chewer option as well!
If you’re not completely sold, consider buying it next time you are looking for treats or toys for your dog. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed and you’ll probably fall in love!
P.S. If you don’t already follow Captain on Instagram, come drop a follow if you want to see cute dog pics every day!
My March Dapper Dog Box was gifted to me, however all opinions are my own.
