I feel like I’ve been stuck in a never-ending winter. However, this weekend, temperatures have been around 80 degrees! Can you believe it?! And it’s officially the first boating day of the season! I’m going out wearing this adorable Sailor Sailor dress!
When I saw sneak peeks of Sailor Sailor’s new dresses on Instagram, I knew I HAD to get one. Their fits are so flattering and their prints are perfectly nautical. I even love the collars on some of their dresses! They also sell tops, tunics, and skirts. Their skirts are perfect for the the tennis court to the golf course.
I’m wearing the Yacht Club Shift in the print Sailboat in a Small. Isn’t this the perfect print for me?! And can you believe I found a red sailboat to shoot this dress near?! It matches the print on the dress perfectly! When I shot this, it was 30 degrees and SO windy. I’m so thankful for the warm temperatures this weekend!
Their clothing is made with a moisture wicking fabric and the one I’m wearing even has UPF 50+ Sun Protection (which makes it perfect for boating!) I wish you could feel the fabric – it’s such high quality! It’s machine washable and American made too which is a huge plus.
If you live in Annapolis, you may have seen them in The Pink Crab. Every time I go, I’m instantly drawn to them! Some of my other favorite dresses of theirs are the Skipper Dress, the Boardwalk Dress, and the Marina Dress (which is on sale!)
Sailor Sailor is the nautical collection by the same owners from Just Madras which carries men and women clothing. Sailor Sailor’s dresses would make the PERFECT mother’s day gift for the moms who love to vacation. I know my mom would love this dress!
What’s a photoshoot without pictures of Captain?! Of course, I had to buy a matching nautical bandana for Captain. I totally recommend this Etsy shop – she sent out my bandana the next day! I think in the past month I’ve spent more money on Captain’s bandanas and bowties than my clothing…
We only have 25 days left in College Park until we can move in to our apartment in Annapolis – and yes, I am counting down the days! We have been spending almost every weekend in Annapolis since we’re so excited. The spring and summer in Annapolis are the best times of the year. There’s nothing better than boating season!
As I’m planning out new blog content for the summer – what do you want to see?! More matching outfits with me and Captain? Life updates? Round up posts? Let me know in the comments below!
